The undergraduate professional
study programme in Electronic Business and Software Engineering is based on the
adoption of specific and contemporary knowledge and skills that are competitive
in the labour market in the field of informatics. Upon completing the three-
year (six semester) study programme and earning 180 ECTS credits, the student obtains the academictitleof
professional Bachelor (baccalaureus/baccalaurea) of Business Informatics (bacc.
Inf.).
The competencies that a student
acquires during study can be encompassed in threestudy goals:

is to enable students to master the foundations of economy for independent
entrepreneurial activities and understand business concepts, the
knowledge of which is expected in any economic

software development, i.e. software engineering basics. By achieving this goal,
students will acquire very specific and sought after IT knowledge. They will be
able to specify a software solution for a specific problem, design the
necessary databases and use developmental tools to create a more
straightforward software solution (application) based on specific user
requirements.
Upon
completion of the study, students will be trained in tasks related to office
automation, installation and configuration of computers, networks and computer
infrastructure, and the application of information technology in market
research and digital marketing. Furthermore, students will be able to create
graphic audio-visual materials, databases and analyze and visualize data
independently. Finally, students will be able to create
desktop application
software, web and mobile
devices, as well as use and maintain business information systems.
